Refund and Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made directly from Captain Joe LLC and to a brand, operating division, or protected series that expressly adopts it. A written estimate, work order, subscription, lease, program agreement, invoice, or other service-specific agreement may establish different or additional terms. Where those terms conflict with this Policy, the service-specific written terms control to the extent permitted by law.
1. General Rule
Captain Joe LLC will evaluate refund requests in good faith based on the product or service purchased, work already performed, costs already incurred, applicable written terms, and applicable law. A request for a refund does not automatically suspend an amount otherwise due.
2. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
Contact Captain Joe LLC promptly using the contact information on your invoice, receipt, service agreement, or website. Include your name, transaction or invoice number, date of purchase, the product or service involved, and the reason for the request. We may request reasonable documentation needed to evaluate the request.
3. Services
Fees are generally earned as services are performed. To the extent permitted by law and disclosed in the applicable transaction, the following are ordinarily non-refundable once earned or incurred:
- Completed labor and professional services.
- Diagnostic, inspection, consultation, service-call, dispatch, or travel charges after the applicable activity has begun or occurred.
- Authorized labor performed before cancellation.
- Third-party fees, licenses, registrations, hosting, telecommunications, shipping, or other charges that Captain Joe LLC cannot recover.
- Custom, personalized, configured, or specially produced work after work has begun.
If Captain Joe LLC cancels a prepaid service before providing the paid service and no substitute or rescheduling is accepted, the unearned portion will ordinarily be refunded, less any properly disclosed non-refundable costs already incurred.
4. Parts, Materials, and Physical Products
Unused standard-stock physical products may be eligible for return when authorized in advance and returned in resalable condition within the period stated at purchase. Special-order, installed, used, damaged-after-delivery, customized, perishable, clearance, or nonreturnable supplier items may be non-refundable. Restocking, shipping, or supplier charges may be deducted when disclosed and legally permitted.
5. Digital Products, Hosting, Domains, and Technology Services
Downloaded, accessed, delivered, licensed, registered, provisioned, or customized digital products and services are generally non-refundable once delivery or provisioning begins, except where required by law or an express written warranty. Domain registrations, third-party licenses, certificates, hosting resources, telecommunications services, and similar third-party commitments may be non-refundable once ordered or activated.
6. Education, Mentorship, Consulting, and Scheduled Programs
Program-specific enrollment, cancellation, rescheduling, attendance, materials, and refund rules will be disclosed in the applicable program agreement or offer. Services already delivered and materials already accessed may be deducted from any approved refund. Missed sessions or no-shows may be non-refundable when disclosed before purchase.
7. Deposits and Advance Payments
A deposit or advance payment will be treated according to the applicable estimate or agreement. A deposit may be applied to scheduling, mobilization, ordered materials, reserved capacity, or work performed. Any portion expressly identified as non-refundable must be reasonably related to the disclosed purpose and is subject to applicable law. Unearned refundable balances will be returned when required by the applicable agreement or law.
8. Payment Processor Disputes and Chargebacks
Payments may be processed through PayPal or another payment provider. A refund request made to Captain Joe LLC is separate from a payment-provider dispute or card-network chargeback. Customers should contact us promptly so we have an opportunity to review and resolve a legitimate concern. Initiating a chargeback does not alter the underlying contract or eliminate a valid balance owed, subject to applicable law and the rules of the payment provider or card network.
9. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method when reasonably available. Processing time depends on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, and transaction type. Captain Joe LLC will initiate an approved refund within a commercially reasonable period after approval; posting to the customer account may take additional time controlled by third parties.
10. Defective or Incorrect Products and Service Concerns
Contact us promptly if a product is materially defective, damaged when delivered, incorrect, or a service materially differs from the written scope. We may inspect the item or work and, where appropriate, repair, replace, reperform, credit, or refund as required by the applicable agreement, warranty, or law. This Policy does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
11. Abuse and Fraud
Captain Joe LLC may deny a refund request involving fraud, material misrepresentation, misuse, unauthorized alteration, damage caused after delivery, or other circumstances outside our responsibility, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We may preserve transaction records and supporting documentation for fraud prevention and dispute defense.
12. Changes and Contact
We may update this Policy prospectively as services, processors, or legal requirements change. The effective date appears above. For questions or requests, contact Captain Joe LLC at 1324A Gettysburg Drive, Orange Park, FL 32065; by phone at (904) 902-1323; through https://www.captainjoellc.com; or by email at billing@captainjoellc.com.
